iMac 27″ Will Not Start
I’ve been using iMac 27″ 3.06 GHz Core 2 Duo since November, 2009. there was no issues whatsoever despite of all the wide spread complaints and short supply from Apple with iMac 27″ in late 2009.
But I do have an issue occasionally, which is the computer will not start when I press the power button. I’m not quite sure what is the reason why the computer is completely dead when I press the power button.
My solution for this computer is pretty straight forward and I’m sure every Mac users wouldn’t have any problem of following this procedure. My answer for this issue is simply unplug the iMac’s power cord and leave it for 20 seconds and then plug it back into the computer again. So far, my success rate for this procedure is 100% and one of my customers followed this procedure on his iMac 24″ and it was successful as well.
I would be appreciated if someone can explain to me why it’s happening and why this procedure fixes this problem
